Bulog Papua-West Papua Brings in 50 Tons of Meat for Ramadan, The Price Is Much Cheaper

goodmorningpapua.com – The Regional Bureau of Logistics for Papua and West Papua will bring in 50 tons of frozen meat which will be sold in the two provinces.

“Each province will each receive 25 tons of frozen meat,” said Head of the Regional Logistics Agency for Papua-West Papua, Raden Guna Darma, to Antara in Jayapura, Friday, April 8.

He admitted that until now it has not been confirmed when the frozen meat will arrive, but it is hoped that before Eid.

The frozen beef will be sold at a price of IDR 80,000/kg. Meanwhile, the price of local beef in Jayapura currently ranges from Rp. 140,000/kg to Rp. 150,000/kg.

  A beef seller, Nur, who sells at the Paldam morning market, Jayapura, admitted that he had no problem with the entry of frozen meat into Jayapura because he already had customers.
