West Papua Province Needs Cattle Feed Factory Investors

goodmorningpapua.com – The West Papua Provincial Government opens space for investors to build an cattle feed factory in Masni District, Manokwari Regency.

A Head of the West Papua Industry and Trade Agency (Disperindag), George Yarangga, in Manokwari said the construction of an animal feed factory is estimated to cost Rp 70 billion. “Initially we hoped that there would be a recommendation from the Investment Minister so that investors would want to enter. However, so far there has been no follow-up,” said George, Tuesday (26/7/2022).

Currently, the Manokwari district government has provided certified land that is ready to be used for the development of the animal feed. “If there are investors who want to come, please, because the land status is clear and clean and certified,” Yarangga explained.

Even so, the West Papua Provincial Government is still waiting for further instructions from the submission that has been submitted to the Investment Minister Bahlil Lahadalia. “We hope that the proposal given to the Minister can provide further instructions so that this program can run immediately,” he said.

It is planned that the animal feed factory will be built in the Masni district, Manokwari. Where the location is a transmigration area and a producer of corn as the main ingredient of livestock feed.
