A Youtefa Bay, a Papua’s Mainstay Tourism Destination

goodmorningpapua.com – Youtefa Bridge in Jayapura, Papua, which was inaugurated by President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) in October 2019, has now become one of Papua’s landmarks. With a characteristic red arch, this bridge stretches over Youtefa Bay, one of the mainstay tourist attractions in Papua.

Quoted from the Facebook account status of the Ministry of Public Works and Public Housing (PUPR), when visiting Youtefa Bay, we will be delighted to views of the green expanse of mangrove forest, sago forest, and the blue expanse of Youtefa Bay sea water with two beautiful islands located in the middle, namely Tobati and Engros islands. Not only enjoying the lush mangrove forest, tourists can also watch various birds flying freely and perch on the trees.

In addition, there is also the Timbul Tenggelam Field. It is called so because this field will only be visible when the water is receding and disappear when the water is high.

In the Youtefa Bay area there is also Hamadi Beach, a white sandy beach which is about 500 meters from Youtefa Bridge. Here tourists can relax while enjoying the sunset. How? Interested in visiting Youtefa Bay?!
