Previously, the aircraft that had expired would be donated to the Aviation Vocational School, which had been collaborating with the Silas Papare Air Base, but based on a mutual agreement, it was handed over to the Angkasa Silas Papare Elementary School.

“This aims to support education and stimulate early childhood to be able to love the world of aerospace,” said Wagus Hidayat at the Angkasa Silas Papare Elementary School, Saturday, March 26, 2022.

He hopes that having an airplane parked neatly in the school yard it can be a place of practice and motivate from early, so that children continue to pursue their dreams until they come true.

It is known that the 300 series aircraft, which are no longer being produced, had received a fairly high offer of up to Rp. 2-3 billion, but he preferred to donate it to the school.

“We have not received any comments, all of them only because of the intention to provide or support the world of education in Jayapura Regency. This is also to strengthen the friendship with the Silas Papare Air Base,” he explained.
