The aircraft granted are DHC6 Series 300 type aircraft with a capacity of twenty one persons. Quoted from the official release of PT. SAM Air, the price of the aircraft reached 6 million USD or more than Rp. 86 billion.
A Director of PT SAM Air, Wagus Hidayat told reporters that the plane grant for schools had become the intention, to support the world of education.
Previously, the aircraft that had expired would be donated to the Aviation Vocational School, which had been collaborating with the Silas Papare Air Base, but based on a mutual agreement, it was handed over to the Angkasa Silas Papare Elementary School.

He hopes that having an airplane parked neatly in the school yard it can be a place of practice and motivate from early, so that children continue to pursue their dreams until they come true.
It is known that the 300 series aircraft, which are no longer being produced, had received a fairly high offer of up to Rp. 2-3 billion, but he preferred to donate it to the school.
