The Squirming of Bouquet Business in Yapen – The hand bouquet business is more increasing. Not only in big cities, but also in regions including Serui, Yapen Islands Regency, Papua.

This business is starting to attract fans because of its beautiful and unique shape. For the current innovation, the bouquet is not only in the form of flowers, but is shaped according to the gift you want to give.

One of the bouquet businessmen is Mitha, a woman who used to work in one of these banking companies. She is now focusing on a home business by making bouquets as her income.

“I want to focus more on taking care of my family and working from home, so I stopped working in the office, and then I saw this business opportunity, then I tried it, continuing up to now,” explained Mitha to, Monday, May 31, 2021.

Mitha has been doing the bouquet business since last year, precisely at the beginning of the Covid-19 pandemic. The bouquets offered are quite unique, ranging from money bouquets, dolls, snacks to goods.

Initially, Mitha admitted that the business of bouquet she started was lacking in fans. Conditions did not discourage her from pursuing a bouquet business by promoting it through social media.

“It’s been 9 months, the first 4 months are still a bit quiet, I did promotion and I did everything by myself, but Alhamdulillah now the orders (orders) continue to be flooded, the point is don’t be shy about a home business, stay focused,” he said.

In a month, Mitha can receive approximately 40 bouquet orders. Not only for birthdays, but for other events, her bouquets are full of orders, such as school farewells to welcoming guests.

The price also varies range from Rp. 150 thousand to Rp. 500 thousand, depending on customer demand. In addition to a hand bouquets, Mitha also accepts orders for birthday and holiday hampers.
