According to the President, the land of Papua has proven that it has produced many superior talents for footballers whose abilities are above average. For example, Rully Nere, Johanes Sauri, Aples Tecuari, Alexander Pulalo, Boas Salossa, Ramai Rumakiek, and Ricky Kambuaya.
A number of names, the President continued, were national football talents, prior to the establishment of the Papua Football Academy class which was only initiated by the government in the past year.
“Imagine the many talents that emerged before the coaching,” said the President.
Of course, with the existence of the Papua Football Academy, there will be more reliable talent in the sport of football in the future.
Currently, about 30 Papuan children have passed the soccer academy training. Participants who pass, go through a strict recruitment process.
“The recruitment process consisted of 477 children and only 30 children passed. That number will make football legends appear in the future,” said the President.
Everything the government does is a form of building Papua. So, it can have a real impact on people’s lives, from infrastructure, health to education.
“The government’s form of commitment to develop Papua,” said the President.
The existence of football coaching, added the President, will certainly have a positive impact on the achievements of Indonesian football in the future. So, they can dominate various competitions.

“We will continue to be trained well, with good character discipline,” said the President.
