Support KMAN VI, PDAM Jayapura Prepares Clean Water Needs

goodmorningpapua.com – The Jayapura Regional Drinking Water Company (PDAM) is ready to support and succeed in the 2022 6th Indigenous Peoples Congress of the Archipelago (KMAN) meeting.

The support is carried out by repairing clean water installations in Tahima Soroma Kayo Pulau. Even these plumbers have started to prepare for the installation and repair of clean water installations in Enggor or Injros Village.

This step is also suspected of responding to the spotlight on the need for clean water for workshop participants at KMAN VI in Enggros or Injros Village during a preparatory checking meeting at the Ondoafi yard in Injros Village, Sunday, September 25, 2022.

The same spotlight was also revealed in a meeting between the Media Center Team of KMAN VI with the Head of Tahima Soroma Village, Kayo Pulau and Ondoafi Youwe recently.

The President Director of PDAM Jayapura, Dr. H. Entis Sutisna, SE, MM said that the support that will be provided in KMAN VI is the distribution of Robongholo and Nanwani Bottled Drinking Water (AMDK).

“There are two things we will do to support KMAN, namely support for AMDK Robongholo and Nanwani so that this local product of the pride of Jayapura can be enjoyed by invited guests from representatives throughout the archipelago,” said Entis Sutisna, quoted from a written statement by Public Relations of PDAM Jayapura.

In addition to ADMK Robongholo and Nanwani, PDAM also provides Drinking Water Supply System (SPAM) services in two operating areas, namely Jayapura Regency and Jayapura City.

“The formation of two teams that are responsible for the distribution of piped water will be coordinated by the Head of the PDAM, the Service Implementation Unit (UPP) of Sentani and South Jayapura,” he explained.

PDAM Jayapura through the national event in Tabi land will also make preparations to meet the drinking water needs of 10 thousand indigenous peoples in Indonesia and hundreds of international indigenous peoples.

“We hope that the implementation of KMAN will run well and the contribution of PDAM can actually be made,” said Entis Sutisna.

It is known that the implementation of the 6th KMAN in 2022 will take place on October 24-30, 2022. 12 villages have been designated as locations for the KMAN VI workshop, 2 of which are in Jayapura City.
