Student at the Papuan Border Get Happy to Receive Additional Lessons

goodmorningpapua.com – Soldiers of the TNI Pamtas Task Force Battalion 131/Brs Pos Skamto provide a place to study together for border children at the Skamto Post, West Arso District, Keerom Regency, Papua, Sunday 21 November 2021.

A Commander of the Skamto Post (Danpos) Captain Inf. Heri Wahyu Saputra in his statement said, every afternoon children from Yowong Village came to the Skamto Post to study together.

“These additional lessons are provided to support the children’s learning process, because teaching and learning activities in formal schools in this village have not fully operated normally due to the corona virus pandemic,” said Danpos.

Furthermore, it is said that sometimes children only study three times a week.

“Therefore, the Indonesian Pamtas Task Force-PNG Infantry Battalion 131/Brs Pos Skamto intends to help residents, especially children,” explained Inf Captain Heri Wahyu Saputra.

Tinus (9), one of the children taking part in additional learning activities expressed his joy and enthusiasm for learning at the Infantry Battalion 131/Brs Task Force Post. “I am happy to be able to study at the Task Force Post with my friends and the father of the TNI,” he said.
