Seven Students from Jayapura Regency to Continue Education in America – A founder of the Papua Hope Language Institute (PHLI), Wally Willey, stated that seven students from Jayapura Regency who to continue their education to America will return to serve the community.

Seven students from Jayapura Regency studying at PHLI will leave for America in August 2022.

“We also determined the Papua Harapan school, which has been running since 2008 and a few years ago we formed a school called the Papua Language Institute, where we can get children who have graduated from high school to prepare them to go abroad,” he said, Thursday (30/6/2022).

The founder and chairman of PHLI explained that Papua will progress and become a model center for the whole world through the extraordinary wealth that God has given to Papua.

“We mentored them academically and these seven children are extraordinary. They have an average achievement index of 3.5, English is quite high,” he said.

Apart from English and academics, he continued, PHLI focuses on building character, namely spiritual character.

“So, we have classes for self-development and leadership, they will return to Papua in four years,” he said.

“To be honest, I often see that education in rural areas only has school buildings but they are empty. I thank the Regent who continually struggle to advance education,” he concluded.
