Seeing the Beauty of Arborek Village, The Cleanest Village in West Papua – Arborek Village is one of the tourist villages in Raja Empat Regency, West Papua Province, which has an area of ​​7.2 hectares and a population of 44 families.

In general, the people in Arborek village make a living as fishermen and also entrepreneurs in the tourism sector.

To get to Arborek Tourism Village, from Sorong it takes about 3 -4 hours, using a ferry from Sorong to Waisai, the capital of Raja Ampat Regency then proceed by using a speed boat for approximately 2 hours.

Arborek Tourism Village, was once nominated at the 2021 Indonesian Tourism Village Award and became the Cleanest Village in West Papua. So, it is reasonable to become the cleanest village in West Papua. This is because the residents over there are very aware of cleanliness and uphold the conservation values ​​that have existed since their time.

Not only won the award as the cleanest village, Arborek Village also received the ISTA award from the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy in 2017 as a village that utilizes the value of environmental awareness and tourism to support the economic value of the community.

Then in 2018 ISTA again gave the title of one of the Cultural Villages. Besides being clean and cultured, this village has a very beautiful natural charm. The beach and blue sea water make tourists feel at home and linger there.

While on vacation there, there are many activities that should not be missed, some of which are snorkeling, diving, tasting the typical cuisine there, buying souvenirs made by local residents, to staying at a beachfront homestay.
