goodmorningpapua.com – The Robongholo drinking water product produced by the Jayapura Regional Drinking Water Company (PDAM) has officially become the beverage of the National Paralympic Week XVI (Peparnas) of Papua.
The use of the bottled drinking water from the Mount Cycloop spring was ratified in the signing of the MoU at the Secretariat of the Large Committee (PB) of Peparnas XVI of Papua, Monday 9 August 2021.
“This is a matter of pride for us, PDAM Jayapura, because the Chairman of Peparnas has given the trust to meet needs of the drinking water during the implementation of the National Peparnas,” said Director of PDAM Jayapura Entis Sutisna via his mobile phone, Tuesday, August 10, 2021.
Entis Sutisna explained that the cooperation between PDAM Jayapura and PB Peparnas XVI in provision the drinking water at the event held in November 2021 will be able to increase the revenue of PDAM Jayapura as a regional company.
“Of course, this increase in revenue will contribute to the company’s profits, some of which will also contribute to regional revenues. In essence, PDAM of Jayapura really appreciates the support given by PB Peparnas,” said Entis.
Entis hopes that the economical rising of Papua must also be marked by an increase of the local products. Not only that, the local products in Peparnas can also be the pride of Papuan athletes.
“After the Robongholo drinking water product is made the official Peparnas drink, it will be the pride of the athletes who will compete later to be able to enjoy the superior products from PDAM Jayapura, which means that this local product is able to compete with other national products,” he hoped.
Previously, the Chairperson of Peparnas XVI, Doren Wakerwa, expressed his gratitude for the support of PDAM of Jayapura, which has used packaging with the Papua National Peparnas logo.
“On behalf of the Papuan people, we will support this product so that it can be better known as fresh and hygienic local drinking water from Mount Cycloop,” said Doren Wakerwa.
