goodmorningpapua.com – Prevention of deviant behavior in school-age children is the responsibility of all parties. Moreover, the influence of cyberspace during the current pandemic can have an impact on students.
To prevent negative impacts, the Fakfak Police Station provides education and guidance to students in Fakfak Regency through a weekly ceremony at 32 schools, Monday 5 September 2022.
This step is a support for the West Papua Regional Police Chief’s Program in fostering and rehabilitating children who have dropped out of school, abused glue aibon and children are indicated to have deviant behavior.
“The Fakfak Police sent 32 personnel to schools. They become ceremonial coaches in order to provide guidance to school students,” said Fakfak Police Chief AKBP Hendriyana through the Head of Public Relations Ipda Arantaun, Monday.
Apart from aiming to prevent brawls between students in Pala City, the 32 Fakfak Police personnel also reminded students to be wise in using social media.
“This is considered important, considering that many cases of fights and other cases between students occurring in Indonesia stem from social media. On that occasion, Fakfak Police personnel advised students to continue to pursue achievements, do positive things, and avoid drug or illegal drug abuse. Good appreciation from the education unit in Fakfak, “he said.
The Principal of MTs Negeri Fakfak, La Boisi, greatly appreciated the Fakfak Police Chief’s program by sending his personnel to be ceremonial supervisors in schools.
“This is a good program, hopefully with a program like this it can foster discipline and enthusiasm for learning to achieve the goals of our students. Thank you to Ipda Andi Achmad Sudirman for being ready to be the builder of ceremonies at our school,” he said.
