Potency of the Vocational Graduates will Open Independent Jobs in Papua

goodmorningpapua.com – A Head of the Vocational Development Division of the Papua Province Education Office, Yulianus Kuayo, said that vocational high school graduates in Papua need to create jobs independently by utilizing the potential of existing natural resources, even also their own resources through the skills and competencies they have according to their respective majors.

“Vocational schools in Papua must build communication and cooperation with the business field and the industrial world in order to provide opportunities for vocational students to conduct training as well as work practices according to their competencies and expertise,” said a Head of the Vocational School of the Papua Province Education Office, Yulianus Kuayo, in Jayapura, Friday, June 3, 2022.

He added that due to the lack of large-scale industry in Papua, the local government through the Papua Province education office would encourage all vocational schools in Papua to build production work units in each department.

“Also, as a vehicle for student learning as well as preparing students to have an entrepreneurial spirit from an early age, so that when they graduate later, students have the basic capital and will be able to create new jobs according to their skills and skills from the majors they have been in while sitting in school.
