Papuan Music Artists Get Ready to Enliven Symphony Concert in Jayapura

goodmorningpapua.com – Raising peace as well as promoting traditional Papuan music, a musician, Erwin Gutawa, collaborates with a number of Papuan musicians to hold the largest orchestral concert in Papua in August.

The concert titled symphony in Papua will collaborate with a number of music artists from Papua.

Erwin said that this concert was the first and largest in Eastern Indonesia. This concert aims to raise Papuan artists and preserve music from East Indonesia which continues to grow.

In that concert, Erwin Gutawa plans to bring dozens of his musicians to collaborate. It is hoped that this collaboration will produce professional Papuan music artists.

Meanwhile, the initiator of the concert who is also the Papuan Police Chief, Inspector General Pol Mathius Fakhiri, said that the earth of Cendrawasih is famous for its arts and culture, so he wanted Papuan cultural arts to be promoted through the concert.

He hopes that the concert that will be held can make Papua more peaceful and at the same time promote Papuan traditional music.
