goodmorningpapua.com – A Mamak [mother] Papua, Lis Wally, got happy to receive the Direct Cash Assistance for Fuel Oil (BLT BBM) from President Joko Widodo (Jokowi).
This was said by Lis Wally when receiving BLT BBM during President Jokowi’s visit during a working visit in Jayapura, Papua.
As one of the BLT recipients, Lis Wally said she got happy and grateful for the assistance she received, because it was quite helpful to buy basic necessities and school children’s needs.
“We are very grateful that we can get financial assistance for mothers. This money can not only buy groceries, but it is also useful for the needs of school children, such as uniforms, buying books and others,” said Lis Wally.
Lis Wally also admitted that she was proud of the presence of the number one person in Indonesia on Bumi Cendrawasih, because every year she received assistance and praised Jokowi’s pro-society policies.
“We are proud to meet the President, every year we receive assistance, as a community we are very happy to be able to meet directly with the President,” said Lis Wally.
In addition, Lis Willy hopes that the assistance provided to the community can be sustainable, so that it can continue to help the needs of the beneficiary families.
Lis Wally admitted that this social assistance from the President is the third phase in 2022 received from the Ministry of Social Affairs for underprivileged families.
“We want this assistance not to end. If it is possible and not violate the rule, President Jokowi must not step down first. He can add one year again, so we can still get assistance. So, Mr President, don’t step down, continue to lead Indonesia,” he said.
Previously, President Jokowi said that this assistance would be given to approximately 20.6 million beneficiary families (KPM) and it was hoped that this would be able to maintain people’s purchasing power.
“So that people’s purchasing power, public consumption will be better,” he explained.
In addition to BLT BBM, Jokowi added, the government will also distribute assistance to around 16 million workers.
“BBM subsidies are also provided for workers, as well as Rp600 thousand for approximately 16 million workers,” he concluded.
