goodmorningpapua.com – The Governor of Papua, Lukas Enembe, who was represented by the Expert Staff of the Governor of Papua for Government, Politics and Law, Triwarno Purnomo, S.STP, M.Si when opening the working meeting (Raker) of the Toraja Family Association (IKT) in Papua, hoped that the working meeting would produce new and good results as well as providing benefits for the land of Papua in a safe, secure and peaceful in order to realize a rising, independent, prosperous and equitable Papua.
“This IKT has existed for a long time in Papua. IKT is also a blessing to the land of Papua and its hometown. The Governor of Papua appreciates the working meeting that has been carried out,” explained Purnomo, when opening the Papua Province IKT Working Meeting at the Grand Talent Hotel, Jayapura City, Wednesday 4 May 2022.
Purnomo said IKT in Papua has always maintained the ties of unity and integrity, and continued to strengthen friendships overseas. Moreover, the land of Papua invites many immigrants to enter.
“This is a good capital and potential. However, the more people who enter, the more uncontrolled and high risk. We hope that the IKT elders can jointly maintain security and social order in Papua. No matter how small the potential conflict, if it is handled properly, it is hoped that it will not spread,” he said.
A secretary General of the Indonesian Toraja Community Center Association (PMTI), Dating Palembangan, SE, Ak, MM hopes that in the Raker of Papua Province IKT, participants can take part seriously and produce the best work program for the benefit of the people in Papua.
“In the working meeting, a decision will be made that advances Papua. We hope that if there is a problem, it should be discussed best and it is hoped that the decision of the working meeting can be realized in the future for Papua. Where the earth is stepped on, there the sky is upheld,” he explained.
A General Chair of IKT Papua, Dr. Edie Rantetasak, MM explained that the Papua IKT Working Meeting aims to consolidate programs at the provincial and district/city levels. This means that the resulting programs will be synergized from the district/city to the provincial level.
The IKT Raker in Papua will also discuss IKT’s movable and immovable assets, in order to increase the carrying capacity of IKT’s activities.
“It is including discussing qualified IKT human resources for progress in Papua and accurately recording the number of IKT people in Papua,” he said.
The Raker will also focus on the fields of education to the economy.
