New Surabaya-Timika Flight Route, Getting Easy to Central Papua – Batik Air will open a new route from Juanda International Airport, Surabaya to Mozes Kilangin Timika International Airport in Mimika, Central Papua.

The inaugural flight of the new route will take place on July 12, 2022. This flight will take place with a frequency of 4 (four) times a week to go home (PP) on the same day.

The Surabaya-Timika flight schedule is as follows:

1. Surabaya (SUB) – Timika (TIM) Flight Number ID-6134, Fly 05:40 WIB, Arrive 11:10 WIT.

2. Timika (TIM) – Surabaya (SUB) Flight Number ID-6135, Fly 15.40 WIT, Arrive 17.10 WIT.

Flights will take place every Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday. For this new route, Batik Air will use Airbus A320 aircraft (12 business class seats and 144 economy class seats) and Boeing 737-800NG (12 business class and 156 economy class seats).

“The Surabaya – Timika – Surabaya flight is a form of contribution to the development of economic potential such as trade, education, MSMEs, tourism and so on for each province, as well as supporting government programs in accelerating the process of national economic recovery,” said Corporate Communications Strategic of Batik. Every passenger on this new route will get 20 kg of baggage free for economy class and 30 kg for business class. Each Batik Air passenger will also receive in-flight meals, as well as free in-flight entertainment on demand and entertainment that can be accessed from mobile and tablet devices supported by Tripper.

During the flight, travelers will be delighted through available content such as various films with various genres such as Indonesian, Hollywood, Korean and others. In addition, guests can play games, read digital magazines and much more.
