Motivating PON Athletes, Korem 172 / PWY Holds Creative Social Commission

goodmorningpapua.com – The 172 Military Resort Command/Praja Wira Yakti held a creative social communication (Komsos) by inviting athletes of National Sports Week 2021 from several sports.

The creative Komsos with the theme “Increasing Creative, Innovative and Adaptive Human Resources” was held at the Korem 172 / PWY Hall, Padang Bulan, Abepura District, Jayapura City, Papua, Thursday, May 20, 2021.

Apart from athletes, this social security committee was attended by the Games Devision Coordinator of KONI Papua, Alfius Demena, officials and coaches as well as athletes from the sports of bodybuilding, kempo, karate and pencak silat.

Korem172 / PWY Commander Brig. Gen. Izak Pangemanan in his speech read by Kasrem 172 / PWY Colonel Inf Wempi Ramandei said that this creative Komsos is a vehicle for building a good interaction between the TNI apparatus and the community.

Komsos also aims to provide motivation and spirit or high fighting spirit to athletes who will compete in the PON XX in Papua, as well as fostering a good relationship between the TNI apparatus and the athletes.

The Coordinator of KONI Papua Games, Alfius Demena, appreciated the creative social service organized by Korem 172 / PWY to welcome the implementation of PON XX in Papua.

 “We express our deepest gratitude and appreciation for the creative social services event organized by Korem 172 / PWY by inviting us,” he said.

He hopes that the creative social committee can help the success of the event of PON XX held in Papua. “Hopefully all stakeholders in Papua can collaborate to make PON a success.” Concern and sensitivity as well as relationships and good communication among people are of course needed very much,” he said.
