A Coordinator of the Indonesian Millennial and Student Alliance (AMMI), Nurkhasanah, welcomed the presence of the Papua Youth Creative Hub (PYCH) as a venue for creativity for the younger generation in Cendrawasih Earth. This magnificent building which is almost completed has complete facilities to support the interests, talents and creativity of young people in the Land of Papua.
“We see this as an extraordinary progress since these facilities can be used by young people to develop themselves and become the motor for HR (Human Resources) development in Papua,” said Nurkhasanah in her statement, Wednesday (23/11/2022).
“The presence of the building built by the Central Government assists the young generation of Papua in making quality works and doing everything for the benefit of the people of the Land of Papua,” he continued.
As known, the building will also be used and utilized by Inspiring Young Papua (PMI) in carrying out its work program for the welfare of the people in Papua.
Nurkhasanah also expressed her appreciation to President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) who has paid serious attention to the development of Papuan human resources through the trust given to Inspiring Young Papuans (PMI).
The presence of the PYCH facility should be grateful as a form of President Joko Widodo’s concern for the future of the nation, especially in this case, Papua is becoming an advanced region with a balance of people living more prosperously,” said Nurkhasanah.
Moreover, he continued, the building has rooms for MSME products, training rooms, meeting rooms, multipurpose rooms, rooms that can be used for co-working spaces, technology learning rooms to libraries.
It is known, the room in the form of a tribune with a capacity of more than 300 people can also be used for performances, religious activities and so on. Apart from that, the PYCH Building will also be equipped with 100 Mbps internet speed, CCTV to the control room.
Interestingly, PYCH is equipped with two dormitory buildings consisting of 24 rooms with a capacity of two people with complete bed facilities with wardrobes and private bathrooms. So, a total of the two dormitory buildings consist of 48 rooms and can be occupied by 96 people.
The building which adopts the green building concept that utilizes natural energy such as lighting and wind is also equipped with a centralized fire alarm system in the control room, connected to all loudspeakers inside and outside the building.
Apart from being in a building with facilities that are very indulgent because of its completeness, it turns out that beside the main building there are futsal and basketball courts.
“By providing PYCH, we, millennials, feel very happy, as happiness is felt by the people of Papua. Hopefully friends can make the most of the PYCH facilities, so that we can be victorious together in the future,” said Nurkhasanah.
President Joko Widodo himself has hoped that the Papua Youth Creative Hub could become a center for the development of Papuan talents.
“We hope (the Papua Youth Creative Hub) to become a driving force, a center for developing great talents in the land of Papua, to become a center for the creativity of Papuan children in strengthening a good ecosystem,” he said, in Jayapura, some time ago.
