Maintaining Brotherhood in Yapen, Papua – The II  Regional Conference (Musda) of GPM GBGP Klasis was finally officially opened at the YACUB Aitiri GBGP Church, Yapen Islands, Papua, on Friday 6 May 2022.

The Musda Committee in its report stated that the total donation reached Rp. 38.7 million. Of the total donations, IDR 20 million of which was assistance from the Yapen Islands Regency Government.

The Regent of Yapen Islands, Tonny Tesar, in his speech represented by the Acting Secretary of the Yapen Islands Region, Erny R. Tania, advised to maintain togetherness by mutual respect and honor among participants.

Erny explained that this message was conveyed so that the improvement of services according to the theme of this activity “Generation Risen, Next Generation, Generation of Winners for Christ” can be realized.

“Differences of opinion, suggestions and ideas should be seen as part of the dynamics in deliberation which will ultimately lead to a common understanding for improvement,” said Erny R Tania.

He hopes that this forum will be able to have an impact on service in the congregation, especially the expansion of the mission of God’s workers in the classic GBGP area of ​​the Yapen Islands which can be seen as the right momentum in evaluating all work programs and identifying the obstacles faced.

“I hope that all participants can provide constructive suggestions, opinions and ideas,” Erny R Tania added.
