Koramil Sentani’s GKI Dispora Receives a Compassion Rope from the Cenderawasih Military Commander

goodmorningpapua.com – Pangdam XVII/Cenderawasih Maj. Gene. Ignatius Yogo Triyono, M.A received a working visit and audience from the Reverend Mrs. Christina Mawena, S.Th. from GKI Diaspora Congregation of Dormitory Koramil Hawai Sentani, located in the workspace of Pangdam XVII/Cenderawasih, Friday 3 December 2021.

This was conveyed by Kabintaldam XVII/Cenderawasih Colonel Arh Antonius Andre Wira in his statement.

On that occasion, Pangdam XVII/Cenderawasih Major General TNI Ignatius Yogo Triyono, M.A gave a gift to help renovate the church, especially the church fence and 300 ex Bibles to Pastor Mrs. Christina Mawena, S.Th. from GKI Dispora Congregation of Dormitory Koramil Hawai Sentani.

Furthermore, Pangdam XVII/Cenderawasih hopes that the compassion can be a means to strengthen faith in God, and be used to foster the spiritual life of the congregation in daily life so that they are closer to God the Creator.

The Reverend Mrs. Christine Mawena, S.Th in the audience activity expressed her gratitude for the welcome given by Mr. Pangdam XVII/Cenderawasih.

Furthermore, the Reverend Mrs. Christine Mawena expressed her appreciation and thanked to the Pangdam XVII/Cenderawasih for their participation in the spiritual life of the Church Congregation through the delivery of the love bond so that the Church can directly use it for worship and religious activities.

“Thank you for the assistance that has been given by Mr. Pangdam XVII/Cenderawasih, may the Lord Jesus always bless us all,” he said.

Also present at the event were Kabintaldam XVII/Cenderawasih Colonel Arh Antonius Andre Wira and Danramil 1701-01/Sentani Major Inf. John Dahar.
