Kissing the Red and White Flag, 5 Members of the Papua KKB Surrendered Themself

goodmorningpapua.com – Five members of the Armed Criminal Group (KKB) in Yapen Islands Regency, Papua Province, kissed the Red and White Flag after they surrendered to the Yapen Islands Police, Monday (26/4/2021). When they surrendered, the five of them carried four homemade firearms with 11 sharp weapon.

The members of KKB kissed the Red and White Flag as a sign of loyalty to the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia (NKRI). The five members of the KKB are Paul Wondiwoi (49), Yames Wondiwoi (30), Eliezer Mansai (37), Yusup Takayuta (37), and Stevanus Woriasi (39).

A chief of Yapen Islands Police AKBP Ferdyan Indra Fahmi said the five members of KKB were the lieges of Rudy Orarey, as the commander of the KKB for the Angkaisera District who was previously reporte

“The five members of KKB surrendering were scattered from the areas of Kampung Menawi and Yapen Timur,” said AKBP Ferdyan.

The apparatus did a humanitarian approach to the KKB members in Yapen with purpose they would return to the Pancasila ideology and the 1945 Constitution. As a result, the five KKB members then surrendered and declared themselves to be loyal to the Republic of Indonesia again.

“We actively approach, understand and provide assurance to their families. Everything is fine if they are loyal to the Republic of Indonesia. This is a step so that security and comfort for people in isolated villages can be established without any opposing groups,” said Ferdyan.

The apparatus remains to do this approach. Not only surrendering themselves, the five KKB members also submitted four homemade firearms along with 11 sharp ammunition. They also kiss the Red and White flag as a sign of loyalty to the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia (NKRI).
