Izak Samuel Ongge: An Accomplished Papuan Youth Who Has Careers at the Ministry of Home Affairs

goodmorningpapua.com – Izak Samuel Ongge, an accomplished Papuan youth with a myriad of talents develops his youth career at the Ministry of Home Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia. This man who graduated from International Relations from Cenderawasih University in Jayapura with Pangkat Penata Muda Tk. I (III / b) at the age of 29 years, since he was a child, he had dreams of developing Papua through his education and talents.

Before entering the job world, Izak with his dream saw that he needed to hone his skills by participating in various international conference activities. One of them is the International Conference on Management, Economics and Social Science in Seoul, South Korea.

Although this is different from his educational background, Izak as he is usually called, said that Papuan youths need to take part in various trainings and mentoring up to the international level for increasing and honing their knowledge in all of fields so that they can compete and advance their region.

This 1st winner of Bintang Radio of Papua Province 2009 who continued to the national level is also included in the top 10 model employees in the Ministry of Home Affairs 2019. For Izak, the current position he holds is his responsibility as a Papuan young man to develop Papua. With his major duties and functions in his job, Izak learns how to build good cooperation with various stakeholders at home and abroad.

This is an opportunity for him to encourage Papuan youths not to be afraid to compete and to network with anyone.

Izak is grateful that after passing a long process, he can become one of the Papuan children who can take a career in the central government. Izak also said that he had not previously imagined of being a Papuan young man to become a civil servant in the Central Government (Kemendagri). He also has great hopes to take advantage of all the momentum he gets in various aspects to advance his beloved land of Papua.

He also confirmed that what is certain is to build Papua even better. The following is a series of achievements he has achieved:

  • 1st Winner of Bintang Radio of Jayapura 2009 and Representing to the National Level.
  • Papua Representatives at the 2010 National Student Art Week for the Solo Pop category in Pontianak;
  • 1st Winner of Solo Competition at the Ministry of Home Affairs in 2017
  • Top 10 (Ten) Model Employees in the Ministry of Home Affairs 2019;
  • Becoming one of the performers at the August 17 2020 Flag Lowering Ceremony with Gita Bumi Voice featuring Naura, Raisa and RAN.
  • Participants in the International Conference on Management, Economics and Social Science in Seoul, South Korea
