goodmorningpapua.com – A Regent of Yapen Islands, Tonny Tesar, is committed to improving the welfare of the people of the mountainous region in the Kowiso District. This commitment was conveyed in a worship service with the GKI Imanuel Ambaidiru Congregation on Sunday 12 June 2022.
In addition to assisting purchase vegetables produced by residents’ gardens for the 18th GKI Synod Session, the Yapen Government also continues to help build churches and educate children.
According to Tonny Tesar, the condition of the village in the mountainous area of the Kosiwo District is quite extraordinary, with better roads, electricity and clean water.
Thus, he asked the people of the Kosiwo District not to be suspicious of the government by participating in the activities of the Free Papua Organization (OPM), because the state is here to prosper the people.
“I keep going up and down to Ambadiru because I love Ambadiru, to be better and progress I build whatever I can do. So that Ambaidiru does not become a backward area and can advance just like other regions,” said Tonny Tesar.
Tonny Tesar hopes that the people of the mountainous region of the Kosiwo District will think about the future of their children. It is because the future of children is the responsibility of parents.
Apart from being attended by the regional head, the joint worship was also attended by the Acting Secretary of the Yapen Islands, Erny R. Tania, Dr. Suheny Tesar and a number of leaders of Regional Apparatus Organizations (OPD).
