goodmorningpapua.com – The Papuan Communications and Information Office (Diskominfo) held the Papuan Archipelago Student Journalist Festival (FJPN) on Friday, October 28, 2022.
A head of the Papua Diskominfo, Jeri Agus Yudianto, hopes that this activity can improve digital literacy for students in Papua.
“We really welcome this activity because in the future there will be more social control in Papua so that it becomes part of digital literacy,” said Jeri, Sunday (10/30/2022).
According to Jeri, now a lot of fake news or spread on social media so that digital literacy is needed from an early age so that it can become a new understanding for the younger generation of Papua.
“Because of the ideas submitted, it becomes a very extraordinary part and of course there will be more social control in Papua,” said Jeri.
He added, as a generation of development, it is also hoped that young people can innovate and be creative to increase added value for the progress of Papua.
“As is well known, this youth oath has become a driving force for nationalist feelings so that the future of Papua is in the hands of the youth,” he said.
FJPN Papua 2022 has the theme “Knitting Facts, Preventing Hoaxes, and Upholding Humanity in the News”.
It is known that this activity was joined by 105 participants from seven schools and one university, which took place at the Papua Diskominfo Hall, Friday, October 28, 2022.
