Improving Education and Future of Children in Papua

goodmorningpapua.com – The personnel of the Indonesian Pamtas Task Force-PNG Infantry Battalion 126/KC Pos Yabanda, strengthen the teaching staff on the Papuan border by teaching at the Yabanda Elementary School, Kab. Keerom. This was conveyed by Dansatgas Pamtas Battalion 126/Kala Cakti, Lt. Col. Inf. Dwi Widodo, S.H., M.Han. in a written release in Senggi District, Papua, Monday (19/09/2022).

Dansatgas said that the lack of educators in border areas, especially Papua, is one of our concerns in improving education. “As a Task Force, we support the government’s program in the field of education, namely building Indonesia from the periphery by strengthening regions and villages in improving the quality of education,” he said.

“Seeing this, the Battalion 126/KC Task Force is in collaboration with the District Education Office. Keerom and local schools are ready to provide Task Force personnel as educators in border areas,” added the Dansatgas.

Stevanus (10) one of the students expressed his pleasure to the TNI Satgas Battalion 126/KC who was willing to teach us and gave us books. “Thanks to the presence of Mr. TNI Task Force, the children are more enthusiastic about taking lessons because the way Mr. TNI teaches is very unique and interesting,” he concluded.
