Improvement of Human Resources for Recipients of Papuan Adik Scholarship

goodmorningpapua.com – The training with the theme “Improving Human Resources By means of Improving Student Competence” was officially opened by the Vice Chancellor for Student Affairs and Alumni of Unila Prof. Dr. Yulianto, M.S.

In the field of student affairs, Unila held “Human Resource Improvement Training (SDM) for Papuan Adik Scholarship Recipients” and “Forkom Bidikmisi University of Lampung (Unila)”, in the Hall of the Faculty of Agriculture (FP) Unila, Thursday, October 21, 2021.

The activity is divided into two sessions, namely, for students who are members of the Bidikmisi/KIP Lecture Communication Forum (Forkom), then, for students who are recipients of the Adik Papua and 3T Region scholarships.

At the opening of the training, Prof. Yulianto said, as selected participants in the government-owned program (Kemendikbud Ristek), students are expected to score various academic and non-academic achievements.

The participating students are asked to train themselves through various activities that can hone their interests and talents so that they are able to balance between soft skills and hard skills.

“We ask all of you to be able to improve your academic and non-academic achievements. That’s the government’s hope,” he said in front of the participants.

As students receiving the direct guidance, this Training and Education for Human Resources Development is expected to be a media for students to better understand and discuss realities problems that occur on campus and how to overcome them.

On that occasion, he also invited the administrators of the Unila Lecture Bidikmisi Student Forum/KIP to take more roles in realizing achievement development in each organization, as well as avoiding unproductive things that are not related to the development.

Regarding various policies issued by the university, he and his team stated that they were ready to open a discussion room to find joint solutions for any problems that arise.

The education and training agenda was continued with a material presentation session delivered by Budi Harjo, S.Sos., M.I.P., on “Leadership Management of Student Organizations” and Hartono, S.Sos., M.A., concerning “Time Management”.

The Papuan Brothers and 3T Regional Education and Training which was opened by the Head of the Student Achievement Management Agency (BP2M) Unila Hartono, S.Sos., M.A., was also attended by Deputy 2 Indonesian Youth Cultural Ambassadors 2021 and the Advisory Council for Indonesian Cultural Ambassadors. The education and training is expected to foster an understanding of Indonesia through the philosophy of Unity in Diversity, as well as the philosophy and culture of Lampung, the place where they will live as long as studying.
