goodmorningpapua.com – The Christian religious leader of the Bethesda Church of Beoga, Rev. Simon Tinal, stated that the homicide and shootings by an Armed Criminal Group at Beoga, Puncak Regency, Papua, were against the doctrine of the Bible.
“Crime and chaos during 2021 have caused school children, teachers and mothers start to feel scared so that many people go down the mountain,” said Rev. Simon Tinalsaat.
Previously, the chaos in Beoga, continued Rev. Simon, was more triggered by problems of tribal wars among residents.
Rev. Simon admitted about the both corpses of the teachers shot by the KKB in Beoga that in religion it is not justified to kill people.
“Moreover, killing teachers and burning schools is very contrary to the Bible. Their actions are based on themselves,” he said.
Rev. Simon confessed to have met KKB and it was indicated that the person came from outside Beoga because he used the different language.
Rev. Simon hopes that the incident of the firing will not happen back in Beoga, Puncak Regency. Rev. Simon admitted that the situation as the shooting occurred as many as 30 people were carrying long weapons.
“I am also one of the persons participating in the evacuation of the victim, for the victim was dead and the victim was in the house,” said Rev. Simon.
