goodmorningpapua.com – A Finance Minister Sri Mulyani stated that the government spent Rp. 10.43 trillion of state funds for the event of National Sports Week (PON) XX being held in Papua on October 2-15, 2021.
“The cost of preparing and organizing the 20th PON in Papua has been financed from 2018-2021 by the state budget (#uangkita),” said Ani, her nickname on her personal Instagram @smindrawati on Sunday (3/10).
In detail, the government provides a budget through the Infrastructure Supplemental Fund (DTI) with value Rp. 881.5 billion and the ministry / agency budget (k / l) Rp.211.2 billion in 2018.
Then, the government disbursed another DTI of Rp. 716.5 billion and the Papua Special Autonomy Fund (Dana Otsus) of Rp. 1.1 trillion in 2019.
In addition, the government also provided a Revenue Sharing Fund (DBH) of Rp1.7 trillion, a Physical Special Allocation Fund (DAK) of Rp82.53 billion, and a k/l budget of Rp758.93 billion in the same year.
In 2020, the government disbursed DTI for about Rp. 140.5 billion, Papua’s Special Autonomy Fund of Rp. 1.44 trillion, Physical DAK of Rp. 18.55 billion, and the k/l budget of Rp. 999.66 billion.
Finally, in 2021, the government provided a k/l budget of Rp. 793.73 billion and central government assistance through the Ministry of Youth and Sports to Papua of Rp. 1.58 trillion.
K/l funds are given from the Ministry of PUPR, Ministry of Transportation, Ministry of Communication and Information, Ministry of Youth and Sports, to TVRI and REI.
On the other hand, the state treasurer said he was proud of the PON XX because it was the first in Papua. In addition, the most prestigious sporting event in Indonesia is held in the best stadiums in Asia Pacific.
“This sports week illustrates the progress of Papua, shows the readiness of infrastructure in Papua, and the readiness of the Papuan people to organize big events to excel in the national and international arena,” he said.
