goodmorningpapua.com – An Acting (Pj) Governor of West Papua, Komjen (Ret.) Drs Paulus Waterpauw, M.Si, provided a set of sound systems to the GKI Eklesia congregation, Aipiri Village, Pasir Putih Village, East Manokwari District, Manokwari Regency.
A set of sound systems was handed over by the Head of the West Papua Province BKD, Enos Aronggear to the GKI Eklesia Church Congregation Teacher, Elia Mandacan.
“Thank God, we are speechless. This is God’s blessing through the Governor. We didn’t suppose the Governor to pay so much attention,” he said, after receiving the Acting Governor’s gift, Saturday night, July 2, 2022.
Elijah explained that the sound system had been the congregation’s longing for a long time and had never been fulfilled. “We have planned to buy this item, but what can we do if we don’t have money. But because of God’s miracle, the governor answered our longing,” he explained.
Representing the Church congregation of GKI Eklesia and citizens of Aipiri village, Elia thanked the an Acting Governor of West Papua.
“We cannot repay this kindness, only God knows what our prayers are for the governor. We pray that the governor’s work will always be blessed by God, including for his family and subordinates to get infinite blessings from God,” he explained.
Meanwhile, the Head of the Papua Province BKD, Enos Aronggear, said that the assistance provided was a follow-up action from the Acting Governor of West Papua after seeing the deficiency in the GKI Eklesia Church.
“On the initiative of the Governor, he immediately provided assistance. This is your concern for the place of worship for the glory of God, without any interest,” he said.
