GIDI Appreciates a Tolikora Regent to Build a School in a Boarding Pattern

goodmorningpapua.com – The President of the Evangelical Church in Indonesia (GIDI) Reverend Dorman Wandikbo, STh., accompanied by Tolikara Regent Usman G. Wanimbo, SE., M.Sc., laid the first stone for the construction of the Kanggime Classic Hall and  the Toma Classic Hall.

This event was organized together with the cutting of the commencement of the construction of several other basic infrastructures, namely the improvement of the Kanggime ring road, construction of houses for residents, construction of clean water networks, construction of electricity networks, improvement of airports and Kanggime Airport. After laying the stone, it was followed by a visit to a boarding school in Kutime, to meet the teachers of the Kutime Kindergarten, Elementary and Middle School teachers.

On the sidelines of the visit to the boarding school, the President of GIDI Pdt. Dorman Wandikbo, S.Th appreciated the Regent of Tolikara, Usman G. Wanimbo to build superior people by establishing a boarding school. Because it is proven that the great people of Papua who have been governors of Papua starting from Isac Hindom, Fredi Numberi, JP Solossa, Barnabas Suebu and the current governor Lukas Enembe,  when they were in school, lived in a dormitory.

It is said that the Papuan leaders received church missionary education with a dormitory-style education, so that building the superior Papuan people with boarding-style education.  Rev. Dorman Wandikbo also said that what the Regent Usman Wanimbo had done should be developed throughout Papua.
