Gebyar UMKM Developing Real Sector in Papua – Supporting the Proudly Made in Indonesia National Movement (GERNAS BBI) in June 2022, Bank Indonesia Papua held a Gebyar UMKM of Papua which was conducted on 24-26 June 2022 at Jayapura Mall.

During the implementation of the activity, the public can attend the exhibition and hold a discussion.

“The public can visit the Papuan UMKM exhibition which provides superior products ranging from culinary, handicrafts, fashion, and other products,” said Juli Budi Winantya as Head of Bank Indonesia Representative for Papua Province.

Juli added that the public and business actors could take part in the talk show which was expected to improve their understanding of business development, especially in the areas of financing, marketing, and digitalization.

Juli said that the event of Gebyar UMKM of Papua was a tangible manifestation of Bank Indonesia Papua’s concern for the development of the real sector in Papua.

“Besides, this activity is expected to increase the synergy between parties in encouraging the development of Papuan SMEs,” he said.

For the future, Bank Indonesia will continue to support the development of MSMEs through synergy and collaboration with a number of stakeholders.
