Economy Grows, Occupancy Rate for Star Hotels Rises in Papua

goodmorningpapua.com – The occupancy rate or TPK for star hotels in Papua increased by 0.44 points to 38.62 percent in April 2022 compared to March of the same year of 38.18 percent.

This was conveyed by the Coordinator of the Distribution Statistics Function of the Papua Province BPS, Akhmad Fauzi, Monday (6/6/2022) in Jayapura.

“Room Occupancy rate of five-star hotel has increased, namely the one-star class increased by 2.23 points and the three-star class increased by 5.14 points,” he said.

“Meanwhile, the room occupancy of two and four-star hotel decreased by 6.09 points and 4.88 points, respectively,” he said.

Akhmad said, when compared to the same month in 2021, the ROR for star hotels in April 2022 fell by 22.0 points.

“The decrease in TPK occurred in two classes, while the other two classes had an increase, namely one-star hotels rose 4.99 points, two-star hotels increased by 20.65 points,” he said. He added that while three and four-star hotels had a decline of 36.69 points and 0.52 points, respectively.
