goodmorningpapua.com – Lintasarta supports digitalization in West Papua through the Gadget CSR program and the dissemination of Healthy Internet to a number of schools in the Raja Ampat area, Papua. This Gadget CSR program is a form of Lintasarta’s social responsibility in Pilar Pintar which is conducted through the delivery of a number of gadgets and socialization of healthy internet usage.
“This educational support in Papua through the Gadget CSR Program is a continuation of the CSR activities that Lintasarta had carried out in the previous year. The selection of West Papua as the location for CSR was carried out in line with the construction of the BAKTI 4G BTS carried out by Lintasarta and its consortium,” said Senior Manager East Indonesia Regional Manager Prio Jatmiko, after giving assistance on Thursday (17/3/2022).
Some of the schools that received educational assistance through the Lintasarta Gawai program include SD Negeri 30 Mumes, SD Inpres 7 Beo, SD YPK Sion Warsambin, SD YPK Ebenheizer Selegof Kalitoko, SD Negeri 35 Kimindores, SD Inpres 5 Saleo, SD YPK Silo Kabilol which are located in Raja Ampat Regency, West Papua. Each school received a number of laptops and their supporting devices to assist the teaching and learning process.
“We are happy and proud to be part of the government’s commitment to accelerate digital transformation in the Papua and West Papua regions through the construction of 4G BTS. We hope that the Gadget CSR program and the socialization of Healthy Internet can benefit the people in West Papua, especially Raja Ampat,” he added.
The Lintasarta Gadget CSR Program and Healthy Internet Outreach were held at the Raja Ampat District Education Office Hall in Waisai, West Papua. The handover of the gadgets to representatives of teaching staff from each school was conducted by Prio Jatmiko, a Lintasarta’s Senior Manager East Indonesia Regional and Lisa Andriana, a Lintasarta’s Senior Manager of Corporate Communications.
The handover ceremony was also attended by Frits Feliks Dimara (a Head of the Raja Ampat Encoding and Statistics Information Communication Service), Mrs. Juariah Saifuddin (a Head of Raja Ampat Education & Culture Office), Orideko Iriano Burdam (a Deputy Regent of Raja Ampat), and the Regional Secretary of Raja Ampat or representing.
“This Lintasarta Gadget CSR program in addition to helping digital transformation in the field of education also supports the Raja Ampat tourism program where tourism promotion in Raja Ampat is expected to increase by using internet facilities,” said Frits Feliks Dimara, Head of the Raja Ampat Encoding and Statistics Communication Information Service.
The implementation of Lintasarta gawai is a continuation of Lintasarta’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program which has been implemented since last year.
This activity, which is part of Lintasarta’s Smart Pillar of CSR, previously provided assistance in the form of laptops, internet network facilities, cellphones, projectors and painting kits with the aim of assisting the Distance Learning (PJJ) process.
