Collaboration of Mass Circumcision for a Thousand Children in Jayapura – Hundreds of children took part in a mass circumcision which was realized in the Thousand Child Circumcision Program (Prabu) II in collaboration with Mulyono and the Perindo Party, Jayapura Regency.

The mass circumcision was carried out from morning to evening at the Baitussalam Kenambai Umbai Doyo Mosque, Waibu District, Jayapura Regency, Papua Province, Thursday 15 December 2022.

Prabu Anak II is a follow-up program that was held in Jayapura Regency in 2019. This program is a form of gratitude to Allah SWT for the blessings of the Mulyono family’s sustenance.

“By giving thanks Alhamdulillah for the blessing of sustenance and infinite love for our family. For this reason, we will hold a mass circumcision when we get in the school holidays,” said Mas Mul, Mulyono’s nickname.

Mas Mul explained that this mass circumcision was not devoted only to Muslim children, but also to non-Muslim children in the Jayapura Regency area.

“This mass circumcision has been carried out since 1994, until now thousands of children have been circumcised,” said Mas Mul who is Head of the Radiology Room at Yowari Jayapura Hospital.

This program was implemented to assist the Jayapura Regency Government in the health sector. This is evidenced by the large number of children from economically disadvantaged groups who participate in mass circumcision.

“The mass circumcision will not only be conducted in Doyo Baru, but will also be carried out in several districts, namely Nimbokrang District, Nimboran District, Yapsi District, Waibu District and West Sentani District,” he explained.

Jayapura Regency Perindo Party chairman Billy Zacharias Suwae strongly supports the mass circumcision program initiated by Mulyono. Moreover, the program is for the benefit of many people’s lives.

“What Mulyono and his group are doing is for the benefit of many people’s lives, so that such activities will also have an impact on human development in this area,” said the son of the former Jayapura Regent, the late Abel Melkias Suwae.
