Building an Interbroterhood, Yapen Regent Breaks Fast with Ojek Drivers, Drivers and Orphans – A Regent of Yapen Islands, Tonny Tesar, held an iftar with motorcycle taxi drivers, drivers, and orphans from the orphanage at the Position House, Thursday, April 28, 2022.

This joint iftar aims to maintain the relationship between the Yapen Islands Government, motorcycle taxi drivers, drivers and orphans. Breaking the fast together is also a form of the leader’s concern for his people.

An Ojek Transportation Coordinator, R. Sanggenafa, is grateful for the local government’s attention for motorcycle taxi drivers, drivers and orphans in the Yapen Islands. He hopes that the government will pay attention to the condition of motorcycle taxi drivers.

“We are here also asking the concern of the regional government to pay attention to us, motorcycle taxis, especially to increase the motorcycle taxis tariff,” said Sanggenafa.

The Regent of Yapen Islands, Tonny Tesar, expressed his gratitude to all motorcycle taxi drivers who have fully supported the government in terms of development in Yapen Regency.

Regarding the increase in the price of motorcycle taxis, Tony Tesar promised to negotiate it. “There will definitely be a way out, your professions are all part of worship, keep working well,” he said.
