BPIP: Perspective of Bung Karno’s Thought is Examined with the Birth of a New Province in Papua

goodmorningpapua.com – A Board of Experts for Steering Committee of the Pancasila Ideology Development Agency (BPIP), Ermaya Surada, said Bung Karno’s point of view was examined and proven by the birth of three new provinces in Papua.

“As in Bung Karno’s speech on June 1, 1945, regarding the concept of a nation from Sabang to Merauke, the four maxims in these words are not just a series of words,” he said to students, ASN and state officials of the IPDN government science doctoral program at the Ministry of Home Affairs who will conduct research in Papua Province, Thursday (7/7/2022).

For him, when Bung Karno gave a speech on earth science from Sabang to Merauke, it was not just describing a geographisch begrip. “From Sabang to Merauke, it is not just a ‘geographical entity’. It is also a national unity,” he continued.

“It is a ‘national entity’. It is also a state entity. A state entity that is firmly unanimous. It is a unified whole. It is a unity of determination, an ideological entity, a ‘ideological entity that is very dynamic,” he said. .

He explained that Sabang to Merauke is a unified social ideal that lives like a bonfire. “An entity of social consciousness like a burning fire and as I (Bung Karo) have said in my past speeches,” he explained.

“Our social counsiouness is part of the social cousiouness of man. The Indonesian revolution is what I (Bung Karno) said the other day, is coungruent with the social counsiuesness of man,” he continued.

In his view, this perspective has become a reality, which is also proof of the Pancasila which was digged from the earth of Indonesia by Bung Karno. “It has the basic value of the future and must be used as the basis of the legal source for the laws and regulations in Indonesia for the sake of the Republic of Indonesia,” he said.

Previously, the House of Representatives of the Republic of Indonesia (DPR RI) ratified three new provinces or New Autonomous Regions (DOB) in Indonesia, namely South Papua Province, Central Papua Province and Papua Pegunungan Province.
