Behind the Touch of Health Facilities for the People of Ulir Sirau, Asmat

goodmorningpapua.com – The people of Ulir Sirau District, Asmat Regency, Papua are finally able to enjoy adequate health facilities from the government.

This fact follows the inauguration of the Ulir Sirau Community Health Center by the Regent of Asmat Regency, Elisa Kambu on Thursday,  May 19, 2022.

The Ulir Sirau Health Center was built with a budget source from the Special Allocation Fund (DAK) for the 2021 budget year. In addition to being equipped with an Emergency Room (IGD), the Ulir Sirau Health Center also has an inpatient room.

Not only that, the Ulir Sirau Health Center also has a pharmacy, examination room and public health room and other rooms. A total of 19 medical staffs at the puskesmas consisted of one general practitioner, and the rest were midwives and nurses.

The Asmat Regent, Elisa Kambu, persuaded the local community to take good care of health facilities, including taking care of the medical personnel on duty at the Ulir Sirau Health Center.

“I ask the public to always look after the medical personnel, don’t hurt them. They are the spearhead of health for you. All of this must be maintained properly,” said Elisa Kambu.

According to Elisa Kambu, the presence of the Ulir Sirau Health Center signifies that the state has been present in Asmat, because it has provided services to the community.
