Becoming the Youngest Player in the Indonesian Squad, this Papua-Born Badminton Player is Optimistic about Making Achievements at the 2022 BATC – Chico Aura Dwi Wardoyo is preparing to deal with the Badminton Asia Team Championships or BATC 2022 which will take place in Selangor, Malaysia from 15 to 20 February.

The young badminton player Chico Aura Dwi Wardoyo is included as the men’s Red and White squad based on the official release of PBSI as the major organization of Indonesian badminton.

Now Chico Aura Dwi Wardoyo has been doing intense training at the National Badminton Association of Indonesia or Pelatnas PBSI.

“Preparations have been good, since last week we have been training intensively until today,” said Chico Aura Dwi Wardoyo.

Chico – as he is familiarly called – was dubbed the youngest player in the red and white squad for the 2022 BATC or Team Asian Championship. He is an athlete born in Jayapura, Papua on June 15, 1998.

Chico is also an athlete fostered by PB Exist Jakarta who is a representative of DKI Jakarta continuing to PBSI Pelatnas in the main men’s singles sector. He believes that Indonesia will be the champion at the 2022 BATC.

Chico is confident that the Indonesian squad can make achievements in the Asian Team Championship or BATC 2022 later.

“It’s just a matter of maintaining the minor ones. I have also seen the others in their training spirit. I have confidence in this squad,” said Chico.

For your information, the arrival of the Indonesian men’s team to BATC 2022 has the status of three-times defending champion. This was after Indonesia won the 2016 (Hyderbad, India), 2018 (Alor Setar, Malaysia) and 2020 (Manila, Philippines) editions.
