Bank Papua Wins Top Five BUMD Award 2022

A President Director of Bank Papua F Zendrato in a press release in Jayapura, Sunday (4/24/2022), said that this year, the first award was the TOP BUMD Awards 2022, 4-star BPD, then the second, TOP CEO, BUMD 2022, to the President Director of Bank Papua.

“The third, two 2022 TOP BUMD Advisory Awards, respectively, are to Lukas Enembe as the Governor of Papua and to Dominggus Mandacan as the Governor of West Papua and the four TOP BUMD Awards 2022 are for the Special Field of Infrastructure Development Financing,” he said.

According to Zendrato, the award held by Top Business Magazine is the biggest and proudest event. “Bank Papua’s reliability is very visible from the aspect of its contribution to regional and even national development,” he said.

He explained, it was recorded that dividend payments or Regional Original Income (PAD) in the last five years continued to increase, where in 2021, the PAD that was deposited was Rp. 193.894 billion or a sharp increase from the previous Rp. 62.299 billion in 2017.

“Bank Papua also disburses a lot of financing for infrastructure projects that are included in the National Strategic Project (PSN) category,” he said.

He added that Bank Papua also disbursed financing for infrastructure development in Papua. “Such as the construction of the Nabire-Waropen Road (SP3 Demisa-Botawa) with a total financing of IDR 5.1 billion, the construction of the Mulia-Yamo Road, Puncak Jaya Regency (IDR 10 billion) and the improvement of roads within the city of Ilaga for the Tugu-Aminggaru E Lajur Airport Section (IDR 5 billion),” he said.
