An Acting Governor of Central Papua, Ribka Haluk, Prepares a Program for Filling in Regional Apparatuses up to Election Preparations

goodmorningpapua.com – An Acting Governor of Central Papua, Ribka Haluk, immediately issued a Governor’s Regulation concerning regional apparatuses and the staffing of the State Civil Apparatus. This is included in the seven work programs that will be completed in the first 100 days of his reign. Minister of Home Affairs Tito Karnavian appointed Rebekah Haluk on 11 November 2022.

“First, we will bring out a governor’s regulation regarding regional apparatus, as well as fill in ASN personnel in Central Papua Province,” he said as quoted by Antara, Saturday, November 19, 2022.

In addition, Ribka will also stipulate regulations regarding the draft Regional Revenue and Expenditure Budget or APBD of Central Papua Province. He will also make visits to eight regencies/cities in the newly formed province.

“The four accelerations in the allocation of grant funds include forming a Regional Government Budget Team (TAPD) and opening a Provincial General Cash Account (RKUD),” he said.

The next program, he said, is to prepare government infrastructure including office support equipment so that all civil servants can immediately work optimally.

The sixth program, said Ribka, is preparing for the Central Papua Papua People’s Council (MRP) recruitment activities, including conducting public consultations so that the public understands the latest policy changes.

“Finally, we are preparing the agenda for holding the 2024 election in which one of the closest agendas is updating the voter list,” he said.

Ribka hopes that in the future the people of Central Papua can be independent and competitive. He also invited all members of the community, religious, traditional leaders, TNI-Polri, and the government to work hand in hand to realize the dream of a more advanced and prosperous Central Papua.

Before becoming the acting Governor of Central Papua, Ribka Haluk was known to have been the former Head of the Papua Population and Civil Registry Service and Acting District Head of Yalimo, Papua.

Then, at the doctoral level, he returned to Cendrawasih University by focusing on Management Science. After completing her education, Rebekah has had a number of distinguished careers in government.
