A Yapen Regent: Papua’s Development and Innovation Can Be Achieved If the RT/RW is in Conformity

goodmorningpapua.com – The Yapen Islands Regency Government held a review socialization of the Regional Spatial Plan (RTRW) on Tuesday, February 8, 2022.

The socialization held at GSP was attended by the Regent of Yapen Islands Tonny Tesar, a Deputy Regent Frans Sanadi, an Acting Secretary of the Regional Secretary Erny R. Tania, the head of the Regional Apparatus Organization (OPD) and the Chair of the Yapen DPRD.

The Regent of Yapen Islands, Tonny Tesar, in his speech said that this socialization was related to Regional Regulation Number 8 of 2013 on RT/RW of Yapen 2012-2032 as well as following up on Law Number 26 of 2007 and Spatial Planning Number 15 of 2010.

Where the preview of Spatial Planning cannot be separated from the involvement of customary law, institutions, individuals and applicable customs. “This activity is aimed to the spatial plans are prepared according to the demands of development progress,” said Tonny.

He hopes that all parties involved can understand and carry out evaluation reviews well, so that the dynamics of development and innovation will be easily achieved if the conformity of Spatial and Regional Planning can run well.
