goodmorningpapua.com – The Jayapura Regency Department of Industry and Trade (Disperindag) provided table assistance for lake fish traders at Pharaa Sentani Market.
The assistance of 20 trading desks was symbolically handed over by the Secretary of Industry and Trade of Jayapura Regency, Samsudin to fish traders on Friday, February 18, 2022.
A Head of the Jayapura Trade Industry Service (Disperindag), Teo Tegai through the Secretary of Disperindag, Samsudin said this assistance was specifically intended for women selling lake fish and was temporary.
“This assistance is specifically for women selling lake fish because so far they have been selling on the floor and it is not feasible,” said Samsudin after handing over the table aid, Friday afternoon.
He explained that this assistance came from the General Allocation Fund (DAU) for Change. “This assistance was postponed but today we can only hand it over to the lake fish seller,” he explained.
To support the activities of fish traders at Pharaa Sentani Market, the Jayapura Regency Industry and Trade Agency will renovate the fish merchant building. The renovations will be carried out in the near future.
“Why do we say a temporary assistance because the Jayapura Regency Disperindag will in the future renovate a special building for fish traders so that it is more organized and clean,” said Samsudin.
