goodmorningpapua.com – The Governor of West Papua Province, Dominggus Mandacan, handed over the assistance of motorbikes, outboard motors and fiber boats to a number of schools ranging from high schools, vocational schools to special schools throughout Manokwari Raya.
A Head of the West Papua Provincial Education Office, Barnabas Dowansiba said that a number of these vehicles would be handed over to schools in Manokwari Regency, South Manokwari, Arfak Mountains, Bintuni Bay as operational vehicles.
In total, there are 55 automatic motorcycles and 15 Honda CRF motorcycles that will be used in the Arfak Mountains Regency and Bintuni Bay.
“Today, 1 Johnson unit and 1 fiber unit were also handed over to Kamundan High School, Teluk Bintuni Regency. There should be 5 fiber units for Manokwari Raya. However, due to the limited budget, only 1 unit has been realized” he explained, Wednesday, January 5, 2022.
The government also handed over a number of practical assistance including cameras, handycams, drone cameras and the handover of generators from the ESDM Service which were symbolically handed over by the Governor of West Papua Province.
As for Fakfak Regency, 15 motorbikes were going to be handed over and 8 motorbikes for Kaimana. The handover is still scheduled with the activities of the Governor of Mandacan. “Hopefully a number of vehicles provided for operations at this school can be useful for the advancement of human resources in West Papua,” he said.
