goodmorningpapua.com – A Directorate General of State Assets (DJKN) of the Ministry of Finance revealed that the government donates eight state properties (BMN) worth Rp. 1.3 trillion which is used for the National Sports Week (PON) XX to the Papua Provincial Government. Thus, the local government to manage the BMN in the future.
“There were eight BMNs that were donated, the value was Rp. 1.3 trillion,” said the Director of BMN DJKN at the Ministry of Finance Encep Sudarwan during a virtual conversation with the media crew, Friday (8/10).
Encep said the grant process was being finalized by the central government. After handed, the status of the BMN will change to regional property (BMD) for the local government.
“This can be for service to the community,” he added.
The BMNs that will be donated are the Aquatic Arena worth Rp409.4 billion, Istora Papua Bangkit Rp.284.9 billion, Hockey and Cricket Arena Rp 294.8 billion, Roller Skate Arena Rp90.2 billion, Archery Arena Rp 23 billion, and Rowing Arena Rp18 billion. Furthermore, there is the Kampung Harapan area, the Doyo Baru area, the Jayapura Regency Drainage System, and sanitation.
Furthermore, Encep admitted that he believed that the BMN grant to the local government would have benefits for the surrounding community and the local government in the form of additional assets. This is because the local government has the flexibility to use these properties in the context of serving the community.
“So that it can be for the benefit of the community and support the economy. We hope that the local government can maintain it well,” he said.
Meanwhile, a Director of the Budget for Human Development and Culture of the Directorate General of Budget at the Ministry of Finance, Purwanto, said that the government has disbursed funds worth Rp. 3.53 trillion for the implementation of the XX PON. The fund are taken from the 2018-2021 State Revenue and Expenditure Budget (APBN).
“There are a total of eight ministries/agencies. The total from 2018-2021 has reached Rp3.5 trillion,” said Purwanto.
In detail, the budget for PON XX through the Ministry of PUPR is Rp. 1.74 trillion, the Ministry of Youth and Sports is Rp. 1.22 trillion, the Ministry of Transportation is Rp. 481.3 billion, and the Ministry of Health is Rp. 24.6 billion.
“This is for vaccines and non-vaccines. So far, we have distributed them to Papua and West Papua. Our data has sent 1.73 million doses and 988.66 thousand doses have been used,” he explained.
Furthermore, the APBN through LPP TVRI is Rp. 31.7 billion, the Ministry of Communication and Information Technology is Rp. 20 billion, LPP RRI is Rp. 3.8 billion, and the Financial and Development Supervisory Agency (BPKP) and the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy is Rp. 1.4 billion.
