3 Types of Coffee from Papua Become World Favorite

1. Amungme Coffee

The name Kopi Amungme is taken from the name of the tribe that cultivate it, namely, the Amungme Tribe. Amungme coffee is cultivated on the slopes of Mount Jayawijaya, which has an altitude above 1,200-2,000 meters above sea level. Amungme coffee has a slightly sour taste, has a distinctive sweet aroma, and has a mocha aftertest.

2. Wamena Coffee

The name of Wamena Coffee is also based on the name of the place of production, namely, Wamena. Cultivated in the Baliem Valley which has an altitude of 1,200-1,600 meters above sea level. The taste given by this coffee is slightly sour with brown and floral shades.

3. Bintang Mountains Coffee

The Bintang Mountains arabica coffee is grown in the Bintang Mountains. In addition to being grown organically, coffee grains are harvested manually, the harvest is also processed manually by human hands, not machines.  The Bintang Mountains coffee has a distinctive taste, namely citrus, berry, orange, fruity, sweet chocolate, sugar cane and peach.
